Acest convertor DC-DC ofera o putere maxima de aproximativ 36 wati la un randament de 90%. În afara de un FET modern si o dioda Schottky, acest circuit este format în întregime din piese familiare si ieftine. În ciuda acestui fapt, caracteristicile tehnice sunt excelente:
